“We are delighted to welcome you to The Hague for the Liberal Partnership Days. The European Liberal Forum and VVD International are very much looking forward to hosting you and bringing together liberal leaders from across Europe and beyond”, that was the invitation to INLW for the event of the Dutch General Meeting and VVD International in the Hague.
VVD International and European Liberal Forum kicked off the program with a welcome dinner at Pulchri Studio in The Hague.

Some of our INLW board members were present such as Khadija El Morabit, Margaret de Vos van Steenwijk and Lysbeth van Valkenburg. The next day many of us also attended the event at the Fokker Terminal for a day of engaging discussions on AI and Economic Competitiveness, alongside speeches from VVD leadership.

Jeannette Baljeu, Board Member, ELF, and MEP, VVD & Renew Europe Group was one of the speakers during the dinner as well as Rein Jansons, Board Member & International Secretary, VVD.
The Mayor of the Hague, Jan van Zanen, managed to attend part of the dinner and had welcoming words for all the guests.

The Oekraïense parliamentarian Oleksandr Korniyenko and Minister David van Weel gave impressive speeches during the congress on Saturday.

At the Liberal Partnership Days with VVD International, they were pleased to welcome Vincent Karremans, Dutch Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management, and Berend Nix, Programme Director for the Wennink report, for a discussion on how to turn European competitiveness ambitions into national action, and how the Netherlands can strengthen its position through innovation and long-term strategic choices.

Special thanks to Alva Finn, Luuk Peeters, Olivier van de Vossenberg and Rein Jansons for this wonderful opportunity to meet liberals at the beautiful city of peace and justice, the Hague, as the mayor emphasized.
